Privacy Policy

The short version
Wordflare processes your videos on your own device. Your video, its audio and its captions are never uploaded to our servers. We don't sell personal data and we don't use advertising cookies.
What we process
- Your videos: handled entirely inside your browser. The AI model is downloaded to your browser (from Hugging Face's public servers) and cached there.
- Anonymous usage statistics: we use Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics tool that does not use cookies and does not identify you. It records things like pages visited, country, device type, which buttons are used, and technical error messages, so we can fix bugs and improve the product.
- Feedback you send: the text you type in the feedback form is recorded with the anonymous statistics. Please don't include personal information in it.
- Waitlist email (optional): if you ask to be notified about Wordflare Pro and tick the consent box, we store your email, the feature you were interested in, your language and the date in a private spreadsheet (Google Sheets). We use it only to tell you when Wordflare Pro launches and to send your discount.
Legal basis and your rights
We process waitlist emails based on your consent, and anonymous statistics based on our legitimate interest in running and improving the service. You can ask us to access, correct or delete your email at any time, or withdraw your consent, by writing to wordflare.app@gmail.com. Every email we send includes a way to unsubscribe.

- Hugging Face and jsDelivr (download of the AI model and its code to your browser)
Retention
Waitlist emails are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, or until we stop offering the waitlist. Anonymous statistics are kept in aggregate.
Children
Wordflare is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their email addresses.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
